This project comprises the design and build construction of two industrial units totalling some 250,000ft2, accommodating a 2 storey office block with a feature staircase in the entrance lobby area in both units.

The development will include the formation of new water attenuation tanks, within the carpark areas to both units. Phase 1 of the development has provided phase 2 with flood compensation lagoon, flood compensation above grade water storage, with culverts, headwalls and ditches that make this site fully SUDS compliant, all combined with the construction of a new access road, car parks, lorry parks, foul and storm drainage, together with all major services to feed the new development.

This project is designed as a combination of composite and built up wall and roof cladding, on a structural steel frame, sitting on pad foundations, with an FM2 tolerance reinforced concrete floor slab, with 22 docks split between both units. The project included all associated external works and drainage along with bypass interceptors, line drains, retaining walls, ducting installations for BT and cable suppliers, with CCTV, signage and external lighting.

Kelvin Pearce - Albion Land

‘It is hugely impressive to achieve PC on time given the extreme difficulties we have all experienced over the past year or so with Covid restrictions.

Allan, James and the Parkway team have worked wonders keeping the project on track and also once again delivering a top quality building to us. Thankyou.

Delivery is also a team effort and I thank you all for playing your part in supporting and enabling a very successful conclusion to be reached.’

This project achieved 'Performance Beyond Compliance' with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
