Another prestigious design and build project comprising the construction of a 16,000ft2, 3 floor office building and detached store.

Piled foundations below a steel frame construction supporting hollow rib decking floors, an acoustic clad roof, a combination of composite cladding and timber screening to the façade teamed with integral windows, Brise Soleil, feature banding and louvered plant deck. Internally the office areas are designed on an open plan philosophy with exposed soffits and services, dog friendly stairs and balustrade, half height kick plates, teamed with exercise yard areas specifically to accord to the end users demanding requirements. Externally there is a detached escape stair turret, storage building, enclosed gardens, extensive landscaping, together with all associated paving works, drainage with bypass interceptors, comprehensive ducting installations for CCTV, signage and external lighting. This new, modern, high quality office block will elevate this industrial area to a new level.

Environmental improvements including the use of recycled aggregates, diverse native landscape planting, bird boxes, bat boxes, log piles and Lacewing habitat have been designed into the construction together with water conservation measures and “A” rated green guide materials. Best practice noise and dust control was adopted during the construction phase to minimize disturbance or disruption to the adjoining businesses. Very high insulation levels teamed with low air leakage, a VRF heating and cooling system with centralized controls monitored and controlled by computer, low air leakage all combined with a high efficiency automated LED lighting scheme ensured that this office achieved a very high energy performance rating.

The building complies with Secure By Design requirements and was also registered under the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
