The construction of a part single storey, part two storey ambulance hub which includes floor crew room, locker room, drying room, gym, welfare facilities and ambulance fleet workshop facilities on the ground floor and further offices, meeting and training rooms, toilets, and expansion space on the first floor. All internal fit out works inclusive of M&E are to be completed internally.
 
The ambulance hub will be constructed with a steel frame bearing on a raft slab foundation. The external façade is constructed with a mixture of profiled metal cladding, flat composite cladding, aluminium frame windows and doors with aluminium curtain walling. The roof will be composite profiled cladding with a solar panel system. 

Externally the hard landscaping will be constructed with a mixture of reinforced concrete yard slabs, tarmac running lanes, permeable block paved parking bays, complemented with a full soft landscaping scheme. This will include all site wide drainage and ducting infrastructure.

All incoming services will be coordinated and implemented as part of the contract.

This project will achieve BREEAM Excellent and achieved an 'Excellent' score with the Considerate Constructors.
