At Parkway we take our responsibility towards sustainability seriously; it is a main corporate driver. We strive to create a positive impact on the environment and the communities we operate in to deliver environmentally sustainable and socially responsible spaces.

EV Charging Stations

We have installed 8 EV charging points within our car park, we also have EV charging points on our sites all of which is designed to encourage the take up of EV’s for employees that run their own cars.

Hybrid/Fully Electric Car Policy

Our company car policy stipulates that all new vehicles must be either self-charging hybrids, plug-in hybrids, or fully electric vehicles (EVs). Our entire fleet is electric.

Net Carbon Zero

  • All heating and cooling replaced with heat pumps
  • All lighting updated to LED’s
  • 30kV PV array installed to roof
  • Energy provided via 100% renewable energy supplier
  • The above improvements have achieved an EPC rating of A+ with a -9 rating, making our office Net-zero carbon.


Our Sites

  • Provide EV charging points at all sites to encourage the take up of electric vehicles for all employees
  • Install PV panels to the roofs of some of our site accommodation blocks
  • Utilise SuDS, recycled aggregate, earthworks modelling and material recycling wherever possible
  • Implement our Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Sustainable Procurement Plan across all sites
  • Install water meters and leak detection systems to all units
  • Limit our impact on site ecology and include ecological enhancements by working closely with Ecologists
  • Achieve targeted BREEAM ratings
