The construction of a 15,000ft2 industrial unit that is shell and core, with composite panel wall and roof cladding on a structural steel frame, sectional overhead doors, steel fire exit doors and PPC aluminium windows and curtain walling screens, together with a large bay concrete floor slab. It also includes all external works, drainage, attenuation, services, concrete yards, landscaping and car parking with a new vehicular access formed from the private roadway.
The scheme includes Secure by Design requirements and environmental improvements including a comprehensive diverse native landscape planting scheme, bird boxes, bat boxes, log piles and Lacewing habitat.
The contract was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and achieved a BREEAM 'Very Good' standard.
