This project comprised of the design and build of a new Vauxhall Brand Centre car dealership for Thurlow Nunn.
This extensive double storey car showroom and adjoining workshops amount to approximately 26,500ft2 constructed on a 2.5 acre site.
Substantial ground improvement works to the site were required to remove 3,000m3 of desiccated clay from beneath the building footprint.
The project was designed to achieve a BREEAM “Good” rating. A Photo Voltaic installation combined with an Air Source heating and cooling installation assisted in enhancing the buildings Green credentials.
The workshops have been designed to accommodate the Clients 20 vehicle servicing bays together with 2 VOSA MOT testing bays.
Outside there is a covered valet bay, vast car parking areas providing 92 vehicle display spaces and a further 152 customer parking spaces.
