The design and build construction of 5 industrial warehouse units including mezzanine floors with a full open plan office fit out totalling some circa 75,000ft2.
The development will include S278 access roadworks from the main Fisherswood Road to provide suitable HGV access to the site.
Earth works will be undertaken to cut and fill the site to suitable levels and a period of ground improvement measures to include both ground stabilization and vibro stone piling to foundation areas only. All arisings from the earthworks and groundworks are to be retained on the site and to be utilized in the designated landscaped and bunded areas to the adjacent care home elevation formed to accommodate this.
New gas, water and electric services will be brought on site along with BT infrastructure ducting.
The buildings themselves are constructed with steel frames and a mixture of built up and composite cladding. The external works consist of concrete access roads, HGV yards and service areas, tarmac car parking bays with block paved footpaths.
This project was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and achieved BREEAM Excellent.
