Another prestigious design and build project comprising the construction of a 6,000ft2 office building.

Steel frame construction supporting a standing seam roof and a combination of cavity brick and block/composite cladding to the façade was used. This was teamed with large areas of curtain walling which all steer this modern, high quality office block into a class of its own.

Externally all associated paving works and drainage along with bypass interceptors, comprehensive ducting installations for CCTV, signage and external lighting were completed. 

Environmental improvements including recycled aggregates, diverse native landscape planting, bird boxes, bat boxes, log piles and Lacewing habitat have been designed into this construction together with water conservation measures. “A” rated green guide materials, best practice noise and dust control and very high insulation levels were teamed with low air leakage, an Air Source heating and cooling system, and centralised controls monitored by computer. All of this combined with a high efficiency automated LED lighting scheme ensured that this office achieved an energy rating, EPC of “A”.

The building complies fully with Secure By Design requirements and also achieved a BREEAM “Very Good” rating.

This contract was registered under the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
