This project involves the construction of a new industrial unit along with supplementary office facilities. Initial site preparation will include cut, fill, and bulk earthworks to set the stage for concrete pad foundations. The structure will feature a steel frame clad in a combination of composite and built-up wall systems, with the main roof also constructed as a built-up system.
The external façade will be enhanced by a glazed curtain wall system, while the building envelope will include steel fire exits and level access doors. The scope of work encompasses the complete fit-out of the ground floor, which will include limited mechanical and electrical installations, as well as the following key elements:
- Precast concrete stair to the first floor
- Office fit-out for the ground floor, including restroom facilities
- Mezzanine floor for future development
On the exterior, the site will feature concrete goods yards and permeable car parking bays located at the front. New entrances will be created for the car park and yards, connecting to the existing estate road. Pathways will be installed around the perimeter leading to the fire exit doors, with footpaths finished in block paving. The overall design will be complemented by soft landscaping.
Additionally, all necessary incoming services and both foul and storm drainage systems will be installed as part of the project.
